Some countries do not welcome missionaries; those called to those countries come up with a new language. Emails, letters, phone calls, FB, and faxes (we are older) are intercepted and read/heard, so code words are used. Without the code book, how would you translate the first box?
Cindy’s Dad verified the 1962 story. In 1993, we arrived in Mongolia. Cindy is taller than pictured in the 3rd box.
While I thought nothing unusual about Cindy attending seminary, several people did.
To survive in a harsh climate, you have to be tough!
A horrible experience. The deaf camper continue through the woods, hitchhiked a few miles, and returned to camp. WOW.
Our Mongolian text book in 1993 was written in Czech! My father-in-law spoke Czech, but Cindy didn’t. To understand the book better, first you learned Czech then Mongol. You heard it first used here: pre-tongue.
Pray for missionaries as they learn the language, so they can understand labels.
